(Oral) The present petition has been filed seeking directions to the respondents to provide adequate security to the petitioner in view of the grave and serious threats to his life and personal liberty allegedly emanating from various terrorist organizations, which, according to the petitioner, have been bent upon eliminating him since the year 2019 and also on account that the petitioner and his family members are living under constant fear and anxiety owing to the apprehension to their lives and are facing serious threats of elimination. Despite repeated complaints and representations having been made to the concerned police authorities, no effective action has been taken for providing security to the petitioner and his family members. 2.
