(through video conference) Mr. Amit Shukla, DAG, Punjab. *** VIKRAM AGGARWAL, J (ORAL) This petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of a writ in the nature of habeas corpus and for appointment of a Warrant Officer, with a roving writ to search for the alleged detenue, at the premises of respondents No.3 to 10 and get the detenue released from the illegal custody of respondents No.3 to 10. 2. On 17.06.2026, the following order was passed:- “Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner inter alia contends that the official respondents have unlawfully detained detenue- Jatinder Singh i.e. son of the petitioner herein at the behest of the private respondents.
