(Oral) The petitioners namely Sakil Ahmed and Jinat have approached this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for seeking protection of their life and personal liberty from the private respondents. Learned counsel for the petitioners inter alia contends that the petitioners are major and are staying together in live-in relationship. However, their relationship is not acceptable to the private respondents and as a result thereof, the private respondents are threatening the petitioners. The petitioners apprehend threat to their lives and claim that there is a constant danger of them being implicated in a false case. A representation dated 15.06.2026 (Annexure P-3) against the threat extended at the hands of the private respondents already stands submitted by the petitioners to the respondent No.2- Superintendent of Police, Nuh.
