Prayer in the instant petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of writ for directing the respondents No.2 and 3 to protect the lives and liberty of the petitioners, who apprehend threat to their lives at the hands of private respondents No.4 to 9 and not to harass or interfere in the peaceful lives of the petitioners. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners are in live-in-relationship and are being threatened with dire consequences by the private respondents.
