State of Punjab and Others .….Respondents CORAM:- HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE DEEPAK GUPTA Present:- Mr. Kapil Khanna, Advocate for the peoners. **** DEEPAK GUPTA, J. (ORAL) The peoners, both stated to be major, seek protecon of their life and personal liberty apprehending threat at the hands of private respondents. Learned counsel submits that the peoners are residing together of their own volion and that they apprehend danger to their life and liberty on account of opposion from their family members. Without expressing any opinion on the nature, legality or validity of the relaonship between the peoners, this Court considers it appropriate to observe that every cizen is entled to protecon of his/her life and personal liberty guaranteed under Arcle 21 of the Constuon of India. The limited grievance raised in the present peon pertains to the alleged threat percepon.
