The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the official respondents No.2 and 3 for protection of life and liberty of the petitioners and not to interfere in the peaceful life of the petitioners at the behest of respondents No.4 to 11 and other relatives and to take action on their representation dated 24.06.2026 (Annexure P-5). 2. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners have recently filed a representation on 24.06.2026 before the Superintendent of Police, Jind, Haryana (Annexure P-5) raising their grievances as mentioned in the present petition but the same has not yet been considered and no action has been taken thereon.
