The present petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the official respondents to protect the life and personal liberty of the petitioners by providing adequate security/police protection to the petitioners as they are living in live-in-relationship and take action on their representation dated 17.06.2026 (Annexure P-3). 2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that they are major. The parents of petitioner No.2 are against their relationship.
