The petitioners namely Astha Sharma and Anmol Sharma have approached this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for seeking protection of their lives and personal liberty from private respondents No.4 to 8. 2. It is averred in the petition that both the petitioners are major, aged 22 years and 27 years respectively and they have performed marriage against the wishes of their parents. In support thereof, copy of the Aadhaar Cards pertaining to the petitioners have been appended. The marriage of the petitioners was solemnized on 09.06.2026 at Arya Samaj Vivah Sanskar Mandir Trust (Regd.), Palwal, as per Hindu rites and rituals.
