The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of direction the respondents No. 2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondent Nos. 4 to 7 and take action on their representation dated 12.07.2026 (Annexure P-7). 2. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners have recently filed a representation on 12.07.2026 before the Senior Superintendent of Police (Rural), District Fatehgarh Sahib raising their grievances as mentioned in the present petition but the same has not yet been considered and no action has been taken thereon.
