Through the instant petition, filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, a prayer is made for issuance of a direction upon respondents to pay the petitioner balance of his retiral benefits after counting his ad hoc service from the year 1981 to 23.01.1992, as continuous service without any break, alongwith with interest. 2. This Court on 01.07.2026, had passed the hereinafter extracted order:- “1. At this stage, without issuance of notice, the learned State counsel appearing for the respondents is directed to have appropriate instructions from the authority concerned and to apprise this Court, on the next date of hearing, of the time frame required by the said authority to furnish the requisite documents to the Indian Audit and Accounts Department in terms of Annexure P-6. 2.
