JUSTICE H.S.GREWAL Present: Mr. Samay Sandhawalia, Advocate for the petitioner. **** H.S. GREWAL, J. (ORAL) 1. This petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking directions to official respondents No. 3 and 4 to enquire into the representation (Annexure P-1) made to the police regarding the commission of offence being committed by some unknown persons. The petitioner is receiving threats to his life at the hands of some unknown persons but the police authorities despite having the knowledge of the matter are not taking any action. The life of petitioner and his family will remain in danger if any appropriate action is not taken immediately. Prayer is being made for issuance of direction to respondent No. 4 to decide the representation (Annexure P-1). 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner has preferred a representation (Annexure P-1) to respondent No.4- Director General of Police, Punjab Police Headquarters (PPHQ) but
