This Criminal Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 & 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners and to restrain the private respondent No.4 not to harass or interfere in the life of the petitioners as the petitioners are known to each other from a long time and had done nothing wrong but are facing threats from respondent No.4. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioner No.1 has been in a live in relationship with petitioner No.2. The private respondents have been extending threats of dire consequences to the petitioners as they are averse to their live in relationship.
