TRIBHUVAN DAHTYA, J.(ORAL) The petition has been filed seeking a direction to consider the representation/mercy petition of the petitioners under Article 161 of the Constitution of India dated 21.08.2025, Annexure P-6. 2. Learned State counsel has pointed out that spouses of the petitioners have been convicted under Section 302 and 149 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, and have been sentenced to imprisonment for life. It has also been ordered that they ‘shall serve imprisonment for a period of 21 years and till the completion of that period they shall not be entitled to get any benefit under Section 401 CrP.C., Prisons Act, Jail Manual or any other Statue and the rule made for the purpose of grant of commutation/ ramification of sentence/Parole and Furlough etc.’ Further, the petitioners have already submitted s
