In the present writ petition, following prayer has been made:- “For issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the notification dated 31.12.2013 (Annexure P-1) under Section 4 and declaration dated 10.08.2018 (Annexure P-2) under Section 6 of the old Land Acquisition Act, 1894, read with Section 24 (1) (a) of Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Re-settlement Act, 2013 as declaration is beyond the prescribed limit of 1 year under the Old Act, 1894 of issuance of notification under Section 4 dated 31.12.2013 and also the notification under Section 4 has lapsed after the enactment of Right to Fair Compensation and GEETA RANI 2026.07.17 16:3
