The present petition has been filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (formerly Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973), seeking issuance of appropriate directions to the respondent(s) to expedite the trial and ensure its conclusion within a time- bound period in case titled "State v. Ravi Lal", bearing Sessions Case No. SC/29/2024 (earlier SC/157/2020, transferred from the Court of the learned District & Sessions Judge, Sangrur), arising out of FIR No. 91 dated 15.11.2019, registered under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code at Police Station City Ahmedgarh, District Sangrur. 2.
