Through the instant writ petition, the petitioner seeks issuance of directions to the respondents to grant her the pay scale prescribed under the Punjab State Elementary Education (Teaching Cadre) Group-C Service Rules, 2018, i.e. ₹10,300-34,800 + ₹4,200 Grade Pay, and thereafter the corresponding pay scale under the 6th Punjab Pay Commission, i.e. ₹43,000/-, on the post of E.T.T. Teacher, from the date of her initial appointment, along with arrears and interest @ 12% per annum, in terms of the judgment dated 13.09.2024 rendered in CWP-15896-2023 titled as “Saurabh Sharma and others Vs. State of Punjab and another”. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already served a legal notice dated 21.04.2026 (Annexure P-13) to respondents No.3 and 4 ventilating her grievance.
