Learned counsel submits that the petitioner though was appointed as Beldar, vide letter dated 06.06.2000, Annexure P-1, however, from that day onwards, he has been working on the post of W.P.A., for which reference is made to identity card and log book, Annexures P-2 and P-4, respectively, but has not been paid the salary of the said post. In similar set of facts, the department has passed the orders, Annexures P-22 to P-27, wherein only notional benefit of Class-III post was granted with no financial benefits ie. arrears of pay and interest thereon, as also the seniority. He, on instructions, restricts his claim only to the notional benefits, regarding which legal notice dated 30.03.2026, Annexure P-28, has been served upon the respondents, which has yet not evoked any response.
