(ORAL) Present petition has been filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short ‘BNSS’) (corresponding Section 439 Cr. P.C.) for grant of regular bail to the petitioner, in case bearing FIR No.158 dated 13.05.2026, registered for the offences punishable under Section 17(b) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (for short ‘NDPS Act’), at Police Station Dabwali Sadar, District Dabwali. 2. The gravamen of the FIR in question pertains to the recovery of 82 grams of opium allegedly effected from the co-accused of the petitioner, namely Sushil. The petitioner has been nominated in the present case solely on the basis of the disclosure statement made by the said co-accused.
