This is a Civil Writ Petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus for directing the respondents to finalize the allotment of the plot measuring 14 marla in view of the letter dated 25.07.2025 (Annexure P-5) and scrutiny list (Annexure P-6). 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the entire land of the petitioner was acquired in the year 1990 and as per the policy of the State Government, since no land was left with the petitioner, thus, he was entitled to 14 marla plot. It is further submitted that the petitioner applied for the plot in the year 2018 but till date no plot has been allotted to the petitioner.
