This criminal writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 BNSS, 2023 seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondent No.2 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner by deciding the representation dated 01.07.2026 (Annexure P-3) submitted by him. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has preferred a representation/complaint dated 01.07.2026 (Annexure P-3) to Senior Superintendent of Police, Amritsar, but no action has been taken so far.
