The instant petition has been filed under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 (Old corresponding Section is 438 Cr.P.C, 1973) for grant of Pre-arrest bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.0097 dated 19.10.2022 under Sections 66(B), [Section 67 (B) was added lateron vide DDR No.21 dated 10.04.2026] of IT Act, registered at Police Sta- tion Rahon, District SBS Nagar, Punjab. 2. Status report dated 10.07.2026 has been filed on behalf of respondent/State of Punjab which is taken on record. 3. This Court, vide order dated 18.05.2026, had directed the petitioner to appear before the SHO/Investigating Officer and join investigation and in the event of their arrest, they were ordered to be released on interim bail to the satisfaction of the SHO/Investigating Officer, subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 482(2) of the BNS
