(Oral) This is a petition under Section 528 BNSS (Section 482 Cr.P.C.) for quashing of the impugned FIR No.0005 dated 17.01.2025 under Section 174-A IPC (now Section 209 BNS, 2023) registered at Police Station Division No.3, District Police Commissionerate, Jalandhar (Annexure P-4) as well as all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom. 2. The brief facts of the case are that a complaint under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act was instituted against the accused- petitioner at the instance of the complainant firm-P.S. Printers through its proprietor Parteek Soni. As the accused-petitioner did not appear before the Trial Court to face trial, he was declared as a proclaimed person.
