(Oral) The petitioner, by way of the present writ petition, seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent- Department to refix his pay at Rs.13,830/- per month, in place of Rs.12,900/- per month, on his promotion to the post of Senior Accounts Clerk at the entry level with effect from 15.05.2010. The petitioner further seeks revision of the pay fixation effected vide order dated 23.12.2008, in accordance with the Finance Department Instructions bearing No. 6/67/2014-2PR(FD) dated 21.11.2017 (Annexure P-6).
