## Judgment text (excerpt)

IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB & HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH 268 CWP-18887-2026 Date of decision: July 15, 2026 M/S MANCHANDA AUTOS ...Petitioner Versus M/S TVS CREDIT SERVICES LIMITED ...Respondent CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE TRIBHUVAN DAHIYA Present: Mr. J.S. Jaidka, Advocate and Ms. Garima Arora, Advocate for the petitioner. Mr. Nakul Sharma, Advocate for the respondent. TRIBHUVAN DAHIYA, J. (ORAL) The petition has been filed inter alia seeking a writ of certiorari quashing the order dated 29.05.2026, Annexure P-11, passed by learned Additional District Judge, S.A.S. Nagar, in EXE-706-2025, whereby the petitioner’s applications seeking recalling and stay of the order dated 10.04.2026, Annexure P-6, passed under Order 21 Rule 66 CPC allowing sale of the attached property/house through public auction, have been adjourned. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the application is now listed for hearing before the learned Additional District Judge on 19.08.2026, and she needs to be protected against sale of the house. In case the order dated 10.04.2026 is not stayed, grave prejudice will be caused to her as the house in question might be put on sale in the meanwhile. JASPREET KAU
