Ms.Anita Kumari , Advocate for Mr.Rose Gupta, Advocate for the owner. Mr.G.S.Ahluwalia, Advocate for the Insurance company. Discussed. A statement made on behalf of the appellants that in full and final satisfaction of their claim, an amount of Rs.6,20,000/- (Rupees Six Lacs Twenty Thousand only) over and above the amount awarded by the tribunal be awarded and be disbursed to appellants, having been accepted on behalf of the insurer of the offending vehicle, the appeal is disposed of with a direction to the insurer to deposit with the office of the Lok Adalat a cheque in the sum of Rs.6,20,000/- (Rupees Six Lacs Twenty Thousand only) favouring appellant No.Lalita Rani, appellant No.1, for and on behalf of all the claimants, within six weeks from today, failing which the amount hereby awarded shall carry interest @ 9% per annum from the date of this order till payment thereof.
