This petition is the first petition for bail, filed by the petitioner under Section 483 of ‘the Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita’, 2023. It has been filed with regard to a case arising out of FIR No.108 dated 14.03.2026, for the commission of offence punishable under Sections 21-b and 29 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, hereinafter being referred to as ‘NDPS Act’, Police Station Sadar Yamuna Nagar, District Yamuna Nagar. 2. The abovementioned FIR came into being at the instance of ‘ASI Karambir Singh’, who had reported that on 14.03.2026 at about 08:00 pm, when he was leading a team of police officials, deputed for patrolling duty, at Kalanaur Naka, Yamuna Nagar, on the basis of a tip-off, given by a reliable source, ‘Joni @Johnny’ (the petitioner herein) and ‘Karan @Jony’ were apprehended and from their
