The present petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 (corresponding Section 482 Cr.P.C.) for quashing of FIR No.007 dated 11.01.2026 under Sections 125,115 (2), 351(3) of BNS, 2023 and under Sections 25 & 27 of the Arms Act, registered at Police Station Anaj Mandi, District Patiala and all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise (Annexure P-2). 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the FIR is outcome of a misunderstanding which has now been resolved and with the intervention of the respectables of the Society, the matter has indeed been compromised between the parties.
