Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the instant writ petitions, with liberty to approach the competent authority which has issued the notices under Section 47-A of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899, and to raise before the said authority all pleas and contentions, as urged before this Court, as well as the plea that the issue as to whether the Sub- Registrar becomes functus officio upon registration of the sale deed is presently pending consideration before this Court. 2.
