The present petition has been filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (erstwhile Section 439 Cr.P.C.) seeking regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.196 dated 29.08.2025, registered under Sections 308(2), 318(4), 336(2), 338, 336(3), 340(2), 61(2) and 351(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 at Police Station City Jagraon, District Ludhiana (Rural). 2. The case of the prosecution is that the accused persons, in furtherance of a pre-planned conspiracy, cheated the complainant (a Canadian citizen), on the false pretext of arranging his marriage and facilitating purchase of property in India.
