(Oral) Prayer in the present writ petition is for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to abstain from converting the post from electrical cadre to mechanical cadre in the MICADA in view of the fact that the posts have been sanctioned in these cadres to proportionately promote employees from each cadre and furthermore taking into consideration that two posts of XEN are lying vacant in the mechanical cadre; further issuance of directions to the respondents to decide the representations dated 14.1.2022 (Annexure P-1) of the petitioners in a time bound manner.
