Present petition has been filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short ‘BNSS’) for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.374 dated 1.7.2025 under Sections 24 of Immigration Act, Sections 316(2) and 318(4) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, registered at Police Station Assandh, District Karnal. 2. The gravamen of the FIR in question is that the petitioner has cheated the complainant to the tune of ₹12 lakhs on the pretext of sending the complainant Amit Kumar to Canada but failed to do so and thereafter, the petitioner issued a cheque to the complainant, which was dishonoured. 3.
