The prayer in the present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for quashing of the order dated 30.08.2007 (Annexure P-1) passed by the Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Jalandhar, whereby the accused/petitioner was declared a proclaimed offender and all subsequent proceedings in case arising out of FIR No.124 dated 09.07.1999 (Annexure P-2) under Sections 379, 411 IPC, registered at Police Station Division No.3, Jalandhar. 2. On 19.07.2019, notice of motion was issued. The matter was adjourned from time to time. Today, however, none has appeared on behalf of the petitioner. 3. On 20.11.2023, the following order was passed:- “Counsel for the petitioner submits that he has instructions to state that the petitioner would surrender within two months. He requests for deferment to produce KUSUM 2026.07.16 10:38 I attest to the accuracy and the air tickets. integrity
