After examining the present petition seeking direction, on 18.02.2026, following was recorded:- “1. At the outset, learned State counsel has filed the status report dated 17.02.2026 in Court today, which is taken on record. Office to tag the same at appropriate place. A copy thereof has been handed over to the counsel for the petitioner. 2. In para No.9 of the status report, it has been clearly stated that no offence was found against the petitioner – Gurbax Kaur, and the Investigating Officer has recommended that she be declared innocent, which recommendation has been approved by the Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar (Rural).
