The instant application has been filed seeking release of the applicant on bail in Case Crime No. 48 of 2026, under Sections 103(1), 238-A, 238-B BNS, Police Station Bhitauli, District Maharajganj, during pendency of the trial in the court below. 3. Learned counsel for the applicant submitted that FIR of the present case was lodged on 7.3.2026 against the applicant and unknown person and according to the FIR on 5.3.2026 wife of the informant disappeared and on 6.3.2026 at about 5 am in the morning her dead body was found behind the house of the informant near a Peepal tree and on inquiry, informant came to know that his wife entered in the house of applicant and did not return. 4.
