2026:PHHC cossos ee Daily Lok Adalat Bench No.2. 509 FAO-4884-2025 BIJENDER PARSAD SINGH & ORS VS ANUJ & ORS Present:- Mr. Arman Goyal, Advocate for the appellants. Mr. Vinod Gupta, Advocate with Ms. Suman, Manager Ms. Pooja Bhardwar, Assistant Manager for the respondent-Insurance Company. 2g 2k 2k 2s 2k As agreed, as per statements of learned counsel for the appellants and learned representatives and counsel for the Insurance Company (separately recorded), a sum of Rs.2,50,000/- (Rupees Two Lakh Fifty Thousand Only) over and above the amount awarded by the Tribunal is allowed to the appellants in full and final settlement of the claim in this appeal. As per the statement of learned counsel for the appellants, the enhanced amount be paid to appellant No.2-Smt. Shanti Devi wife of Sh. Bijender Parsad Singh. Accordingly, we dispose of this case with a direction to the Insurance Company to deposit a crossed-cheque for Rs.2,50,000/- in the name of the appellant No.2-Smt. Shanti Devi wife of Sh. Bijender Parsad Singh with the office of the Lok Adalat of the High Court on or before 24.08.2026, in compliance of this order, failing which, interest @ 9% per annum shall follow on this amount
