(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (corresponding to Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973), seeking grant of regular bail in FIR No. 721 dated 08.10.2002, initially registered under Sections 148, 149, 332, 186 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, at Police Station Sadar Hisar, District Hisar, Haryana. Subsequently, charges were framed under Sections 148, 149, 332, 323, 353, 186 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code. 2. The prosecution case, as set out in FIR No. 721 dated 08.10.2002 registered at Police Station Sadar Hisar, District Hisar, Haryana, is that on 08.10.2002 at about 9:00 p.m., a raiding party comprising officials of the Excise Department and Haryana Police, under the supervision of the Excise Inspector, proceeded to Village Piranwali to
