Prayer in this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioners and regularize their services. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners, inter alia, contends that the petitioners were appointed as Part-time Sweepers in the Education Department. The petitioners were rendering their duties for 24 hours as they stay inside the school premises and their part-time status is only in papers. The Government of Haryana and the concerned department have issued Instructions from time to time for regularization of the part-time group employees in the year 1999, 2003 and 2004 as discernible from Annexures P-2 to P-4, respectively).
