The petitioner has filed the instant petition under Section 483 of Bhartiya Nyaya Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short BNSS, 2023) [prior Section 439 of Cr.P.C.] with a prayer to grant regular bail to him in case FIR No.08 dated 09.01.2025, registered under Sections 109, 3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (for short BNS) (Sections 307, 34 IPC) and Section 25, 27 of the Arms Act, 1959; offence under Section 201 IPC and Section 324 BNS, 2023 [i.e. Section 425 IPC] added later on, at Police Station Tarn Taran, District Tarn Taran. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as per the case of the prosecution, petitioner and his two other co-accused had allegedly fired gun shot on Kawaljit Singh, however, no specific role has been attributed to the petitioner.
