Petitioner has approached this Court, inter alia, for issuance of a writ of mandamus for directing respondents to permit him to participate in JAC Chandigarh B.Tech/B.Arch Counselling-2026 and to consider his candidature for admission to B.Arch course for session 2026-27. 2. As per petitioner's own showing, result of 6th semester of qualifying examination was declared after the cut off date for registration for admission to B.Tech/B.Arch. Therefore, petitioner was not eligible to apply during counselling schedule starting from 14.05.2026. 3.
