Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel and perused the record. 2. The petitioner has invoked the extraordinary jurisdiction of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, inter alia, with the following prayer:- "I. issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the Respondent No. 4 to decide the application dated 09.04.2018 filed by the petitioner under section 109 of Consolidation of Holding Act, 1953, expeditiously." 3. Learned Standing Counsel has no objection in case a direction is issued for early disposal of the aforementioned matter. 4.
