The present writ petition, in the nature of a Public Interest Litigation (PIL), has been filed seeking issuance of a direction to respondent nos. 2 to 4 to remove the illegal encroachment made by respondent nos.6 to 18 over land bearing Gata No. 543, area 0.0380 hectare, which is recorded in the revenue records as a pond as well as Gata No. 544, area 0.1010 hectare, which is recorded in the revenue records as Panchayat Bhawan, situated at Village Panchayat Karawan, Pargana Alamnagar, Block Todarpur, Tehsil Shahabad, District Hardoi. Learned counsel for the State has produced before this Court the instructions dated 18.01.2026 issued by the Tehsildar Shahabad, District Hardoi, wherein it has been
