Heard Sri Anwar Hussain, learned counsel for the writ petitioner and Sri Gaurav Singh, learned Standing Counsel for the State. 2. The sole prayer in the present petition is for disposal of the departmental revision under Rule 25 of the U.P. Police Officers of the Subordinate Ranks (Punishment and Appeal Rules, 1999), pending before the Principal Secretary, Home, Home (Police), Anubhag-1, Annexy Bhawan, Government of U.P. at Lucknow against the order dated 02.03.2025 passed by District Magistrate, Azamgarh. 3. Learned Standing Counsel has no objection to the same. 4. Considering the submissions so made across the Bar, the writ petition stands disposed of directing the Respondent No.1 to decide the pending departmental revision within a period of two months from today.
