Both the aforesaid appeals have been filed by the appellants challenging validity of the judgment and order dated 25.02.2013 passed by the learned Additional District & Sessions Judge, Court No. 2, Lucknow in Session Trial No. 1134 of 2010, arising out of Case Crime No. 423 of 2010, under Sections 498-A, 304-B IPC and 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act and the alternative charge under Section 302/34 IPC, whereby the appellants have been convicted of the offences under Sections 498-A and 306 IPC. The appellant Mukesh has been sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for six years and Rs.20,
