The issue is regarding applicability of Section 80 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 to the acquisition proceedings made under the provisions of National Highways Act, 1956. 3. It is submitted that the judgment of this Court dated 16.12.2023 taking the view that the said provision would apply is under challenge before Supreme Court. 4.
