This petition, purportedly in public interest, has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondents to transfer respondent No. 5 from the present place of posting. 2. Allegations have been made that respondent No. 5 is posted at Gorakhpur for the last over 11 years and as and when the orders of transfer have been passed, same have either been varied and/or cancelled and therefore, the respondents be directed to transfer respondent No. 5, who is staying at Gorakhpur in violation of transfer policy of the State. 3. A perusal of the petition indicates that the petitioner claims himself to be a social worker and is not personally interested in the subject matter of the petition.
