Petitioner/defendant has assailed order dated 21.07.2025 of the learned trial court whereby his application for filing additional documents was dismissed on the ground that no cogent explanation is furnished as to whether the subject additional documents were not in power and possession of the petitioner/defendant. The subject additional documents are the family settlement and the income tax returns of the respondent/plaintiff. 2. At the outset, learned counsel for petitioner/defendant contends that he does not press for the family settlement to be taken on record.
