After some argument, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdrawn this petition giving more details of factum of consideration of petitioner's candidature for the post of Head Constable and subsequent promotion to the post of Sub Inspector and the date when the sealed cover procedure was adopted by the departmental promotional committee. 2.
