Heard Shri Parvez Alam, learned counsel for petitioner and Shri Chandan Sharma, learned counsel for respondent. 2. By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution petitioner has prayed for following substantial reliefs: "i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of MANDAMUS commanding and directing the respondent No. 2 to promote the petitioner on the post of Senior Assistant and further grant the Pay Grade of 2800/- to the petitioner from the date Juniors to the petitioner have been granted promotion to the post of Senior Assistant and Grade Pay of Rs. 2800/-. ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of MANDAMUS commanding and directing the respondent No. 2 to decide the representation dated 15.10.2024 submitted by the petitioner, in accordance with law, after affording the opportunity of hearing to the petitioner." 3.
