Heard Mr. Kailash Nath Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri T.P. Gupta, learned Standing Counsel for the State. 2. The instant petition has been filed for the following relief:- "Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the Respondent no. 2 / Settlement Officer of Consolidation, District - Jaunpur to decide the Appeal No. 3215 of 2023, Computerized Case No. 202354143600003215 (Bharat Vs., Mohrani) under Section 21(2) of the U.P.C.H. Act, 1953 within stipulated period of time as directed by this Hon'ble Court." 3. This Court directed the Settlement Officer of Consolidation, Jaunpur to submit report in the matter.
