This petition has been filed by the petitioner purportedly in public interest, seeking a direction to the respondents to take action for removing the encroachment over 20 feet wide Gata No. 38 public road registered under the revenue record of Mohalla Aurang Shahpur Diggi, Nagar Nigam, Meerut. 2. A perusal of the writ petition indicates that there has been a long standing dispute between the University and villagers-respondent nos. 7 and 8, which was resolved by the State-authorities on 21.06.2012 and 06.02.2023 and now again, dispute appears to have arisen, based on which, the present PIL has been filed. 3.
